Meet Tonya
Tonya Smith-Duncan is a native New Yorker that relocated to the Lehigh Valley in Pennsylvania in 2008. She obtained an Associate’s Degree in Studio Art (Painting and Drawing) from Lehigh Carbon Community College in 2011 and a Bachelor of Arts in Studio Art from Cedar Crest College in May, 2016 in spite of life’s obstacles getting in the way.
Love, Loss, and Everything In Between marks her third published book. Because hand-drawing and painting comic cells is a labor of love that takes tremendous time and focus, every page she creates is infused with personal care, distinct color palettes, and soulful character expressions.
